Monday Day Ahead Forecast
Mostly dry morning for much of the UK and Ireland this morning although there will be scattered, mostly isolated rain showers for parts of Scotland in the morning, maybe more prolonged rain up for the Shetlands but nothing too bad it seems, and northern Highlands.
Cloud should clear for parts of the South East over the course of the morning, the Midland areas in the UK should start off and finish off clear for most of the morning, whereas cloud will advance across Scotland this morning.
In Ireland, most should start clear, or mostly clear, although parts of the West/NW could slowly cloud over by midday, but Western areas should see a blue skied morning.
Mostly chilly day or average across much of the UK and Ireland today, warmest in South Eastern parts of England at around 12-13 degrees Celsius.
Parts of the Midlands will be around 11/12 degrees Celsius today.
Most of Scotland, central belt and lowlands, should be around 9-11 Celsius today, although higher grounded areas will be cooler, particularly parts of the highlands which could reach only 7-8 degrees Celsius today.
Ireland will be around 11/12 degrees today for the most part although some eastern areas particularly in the Republic could be cooler, slightly.
Wales will be around 10/11 degrees today.
Into the night most areas of England, Wales and Ireland will be quiet, mostly parts of Scotland too. Although there's an increased chance of seeing some wetter conditions in the north, mostly light rain though.
Into the early morning around 5/6am Tuesday, parts of Northern Scotland may see slightly more in the way of rain but nothing too bad, especially for the Western Isles, elsewhere should mostly be dry.
Most of the UK and Ireland will be around 6-9 degrees tonight away from Coastal areas, although the Central belt in Scotland will be slightly milder.
