Saturday Europe Daily Forecast
Looks like a drier morning over much of Europe today, although Scotland will be wetter with periods of wet weather over the course of the morning, Eastern Spain will be showery with the occasionally heavy shower here and there. Coastal Andalusia, will see prolonged rain in the morning which could be heavy in parts.
Very light rain will effect parts of central Europe like Bavaria, and the Czech Republic and parts of Slovakia, but the rain will not amount to much it seems, heavier rain into the late morning and afternoon should develop across southern parts of Bulgaria, and North, Eastern Greece.
Elsewhere should be dry for the morning, early afternoon bar a few parts of Northern Norway, North Germany, Southern parts of Sweden, and isolated South Eastern parts of Denmark.
Western Ireland will see light rain too in the morning.
Temperatures in Germany will be a little cooler today, around 12-14 Celsius up North. But highs of 17 Centigrade could be seen in the South of the country, warm day for southern parts of France today, with temperatures in the 20s, although the northern areas of France could see temperatures mostly in the mid-teens so it'll be mostly warm for parts of France today.
Chilly day for much of Scandinavia today, temperatures in southern Sweden will only get to around 12/13 celsius, the rest of Sweden will be cooler.
Finland will be mostly cool too, with temperatures in Helsinki only reaching to around 8-9 degrees Celsius.
Denmark will be mostly mild though, with temperatures of around 12-14 Celsius.
Another warm day for much of the Balkans today and Italy. Temperatures in Italy will be mostly in the 20s, parts could reach 26 degrees Celsius.
Coastal Balkan countries, like Albania, parts of Croatia, Montenegro, and Bosnia & Herzegovina etc, will have temperatures mostly around 20 Celsius or above, although Insular areas will be cooler. Parts of Serbia will be around the mid-teens to high teens over the course of today. Greece will be mostly warm today too with temperatures around 23-26 Celsius today, it could inch over the 26 degree mark in some areas.
Moving over to Spain, another cooler day for much of Spain, temperatures barely getting over 23 Celsius for much of the country. Barcelona could see temperatures of around 23 celsius as will Western parts of Inland Spain, especially the border areas. Inland Spain will be around the mid-high teens, mostly around 14-17 Celsius.
Portugal will be cooler today, than yesterday mostly but still mostly warm for much of day. Coastal parts will still be around the mid 20s. Mostly around 23-25 Celsius. Inland areas, will be around 19-22 degrees.
For the UK and Ireland it'll be a mild day today, cloudy in the West this afternoon especially for Western areas of Ireland and parts of Scotland, although sunnier for Eastern areas of both UK and Ireland.
Temperatures will be around 15-16 Celsius in much of England, cooler up north. Scotland will be around that temperature mostly in the East. Inland or western areas will be around 12-13 celsius.
Similarly for Ireland, Eastern areas will be warmest with temperatures of around 14-16 Celsius, Western areas milder than parts of Scotland, but still cooler than parts of Eastern Ireland at around 13-14 Celsius.
Wales will be around 14-15 Celsius mainly.
Evening and into the Night.
Heavier rain will hit parts of Spain, this afternoon, Andalusia will be mostly effected. It should mostly dry up in the rest of Eastern Spain as the day goes on although the odd shower cannot be ruled out.
The heavy rain looks as though it'll move westward into parts of the border areas of both Southern Portugal and Southern Spain.
Into the evening it'll be increasingly showery in parts of Poland too, although it'll be mostly light, as will Romania and Bulgaria although both areas will not see prolonged bouts of rain.
Western Spain and Southern Portugal will bare the brunt of heavy rain tonight, parts of Norway will be increasingly wet too, but nothing severe it seems.
Parts of Scotland, and Ireland will be increasingly wetter tonight, temperatures across the UK and Ireland will be very milder than of recent, temperatures of 10-11 Celsius in England. 13-14 In parts of Ireland, 12-13 in Scotland. Cooler in the border hills of Wales at 8-9 Celsius, although elsewhere should see temperatures similar to England.
Quite a cool night across much of Central Europe tonight in comparison to previous days, 5-8 celsius should be expected, away from coastal areas.
6s-7s will mostly be seen in Poland.
Quite a cold night for parts of central Sweden with temperatures of around 4 Celsius also tonight, Southern areas away from the coast should be cool too at around 6-7 celsius. Cool for Finland too with temperatures around Helsinki dipping to around 2 centigrade.
Warm, but cooler night across Italy than of late temperatures of around 11-13 degrees should be expected.
Much of the Balkans should see temperatures of around 4-7 celsius mainly, although coastal areas will be warmer.
Most of Spain will be mild tonight, but still quite chilly for some, 12-16 Celsius should mostly be expected here, but the Basque area will be cooler.
Portugal will be around 16-17 Celsius tonight, insular areas will be slightly cooler than that, and coastal areas milder.
It'll be a mostly clear night, in the South of Spain and Portugal, and North, Central/Midland areas will be cloudy tonight.
