Ex-Hurricane Helene, does not look anywhere near as bad as it once did, but it's worth to be aware that it could still pose some risk, she looks like she'll continue to track eastwards, most areas could see gusts of around 35-48mph. Possibly, however some coastal areas, especially in Wales may see a little more. However it is not like we were expecting, so it'll be gusty but not the strong 60-70mph gusts we thought at first.
Overnight on Monday she is expected to bring rain, to Wales, and Northern parts of England. Scotland and Ireland is still rain too. The heaviest rainwill be in parts of the Highlands, Ireland, and Wales. Rain may be heavy in England too, but not as heavy as these areas.
South Eastern England, looks mainly dry, however we can't rule out the odd rogue shower.
So in conclusion, the low pressure system that was once Helene, won't cause too much trouble like our usual 'Autumnal' storms that we get, but it's still worth to be aware that she may still cause some damage etc.
The Met Office does have a Yellow warning in force, covering all of Wales, and parts of Northern England, parts of N.I have been encompassed into the yellow warning too, but really only the eastern coasts of N.I
Met Éireann has enforced a rainfall warning for Co. Mayo, and Galway 25mm to 40mm of rainfall is expected, possibly due to a band of rain riding up the coast of Ireland during the afternoon, and this evening.
